Ken Allum

Ken lives and works on Anglesey. He studied art at foundation level at Kelsterton College, and fine art at degree level at Falmouth School of Art. He later undertook a post graduate certificate in education at Didsbury College. He has combined a career in teaching art with developing his own work.

Ken’s various styles of painting have developed over many years as a result of study and experiences. His style varies to the point where his work has been described as both photorealistic and reminiscent of the cubists masters.

His influences range from Picasso, Miro and Max Ernst, to the more modern Ben Nicholson, Jackson Pollock and William Roberts. Though for Ken these are only the tip of the influential iceberg.
